Notes for the carpenter
Both cabinet runs: approx. 59¼″ W × 95¾″ H. Measured ceiling ~95½″, wall depth ~58¼″ — reconcile the ¼–1″ discrepancy on site.
LG WashTower (27″ W, measures 77¾″ tall on its drain pan) projects ~34″ from the wall as installed (~35″ with doors) — cords and ducting behind. It sits in an open-front drip pan that stays: the pan is hard-plumbed to under-floor PVC via a center drain.
Wall-mounted utility sink (24″ × 20″, rim at 34″) stays in the front-left corner.
Counters at ~36″; two-door upper cabinet above the W/D; crown molding at all cabinet tops, ~4″ recessed toe kicks at bases.
Two GFCI outlets on the left wall — cabinets mount open-backed (wall exposed inside), so no cutouts needed; outlets stay accessible inside the tall cabinet.
W/D enclosed by full-height panels, ~35″ deep (flush with the installed unit incl. doors). Field-verify the pan footprint against the ~29″ clear bay — notch the panel bottoms over the pan's side lips; the pan cannot shift.
Service: keep Wall 2 base ≤ ~20″ deep — that preserves a ~46″ aisle so the unit (diagonal ~43″) can pull out ~35″, rotate on the AirDolly, and roll out the 30″ door. The pan's open front means the unit rolls straight out — no lifting over a lip.
AirDolly lifts the load up to 2″: bay opening above the W/D is 79¾″ — the measured 77¾″ unit-on-pan height + the full 2″ lift — so the cabinet above the W/D is ~16″ tall (79¾″ to 95¾″).
Sink faucet (installed): Kohler Crue K-22973-2MB semi-pro pull-down, Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass — ~21⅜″ tall on the 34″ deck, top ~55½″ AFF, leaving ~8½″ below the 64″ upper cabinet. Don't lower that cabinet.
Counter beside the sink stays at ~36″ (a 2″ step above the 34″ sink rim): ~1–1.5″ front overhang past the door faces, and the sink-side edge overhangs ~1″ toward the sink with a sealed silicone joint — avoid a narrow ¼–½″ gap that traps lint and moisture.
Sink support: in-wall blocking — open the drywall behind the sink, screw 2× blocking (or a plywood backer) between the Wall 2 studs at bracket height, fitted around the drain and supply penetrations; patch, then remount the sink lagged into the blocking. Fully invisible; there is no stud behind the sink today. Sink comes down temporarily (disconnect trap and supplies).
All hardware — rod, pulls, handles — is finished to match the faucet: Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass.
Under-cabinet LED task lighting beneath the upper runs, concealed behind a ~1½″ light-rail valance; strips plug into the GFCIs inside the open-back cabinets — no new wiring.
Hanging rod raised to 70″ so shirt hems clear the counter; it sits 4″ below the 74″ shelf — the standard closet rod-under-shelf detail (hangers tilt off forward).

Open-back cabinets hang on French cleats / hanging rails lagged into studs — never through-back screws; loaded uppers exceed 100 lbs.
Wall 4 open shelf at 50″ is 12″ deep (uppers stay 14″) and bears on the flanking end panels plus a rear cleat lagged to studs — no floating-shelf brackets; it carries full detergent jugs.
All cabinet interiors get adjustable shelves on shelf-pin rows — no fixed shelving — so heights can change over time.
